Yes, there’s a risk of breast cancer—about 1 in 1,000. If you no longer have a uterus, the risk is even lower. However, if breast cancer runs in your family, the risk increases, and in that case, I strongly suggest exploring other methods to treat your symptoms.


For some, it might be essential to have that talk with your doctor. Just remember: you want the lowest dose for the shortest time possible.
